In the late 1800’s John Fetzner owned and operated a blacksmith shop on West Ridge Road in Rochester, New York. With the arrival of the automobile in the early 1900’s, John Fetzner’s son Ray saw the need for a repair shop to service these automobiles. Ray Fetzner expanded the business to include a repair shop that sold and serviced Hudsons. Ray’s son John worked for his father in the automobile business and began doing body work as well. In 1964, John Fetzner moved the auto body portion of the shop to its present location at 2485 Dewey Ave. Today we repair all makes and models of automobiles, having served the Rochester area for over 70 years we are currently run by the third generation of the Fetzner family.
