1.1  We at Dashrite have a noble purpose: to enhance people’s lives and assist small businesses in their growth. The best aid we can provide to our community is a platform that can improve lives and help businesses to thrive. However, we need to collect, use, and share some of your personal information to achieve this goal. To ensure your data is secure, our Privacy Policy has been to help you understand how we use your information and how you can exercise your rights and choices.

2. Privacy Policy Overview

2.1 This policy applies to all Dashrite & Marketplace users, including Customers, Vendors, and Service Providers, and all Dashrite & Marketplace platforms and services, including our applications, websites, technology, facilities, and other services (collectively, the “Dashrite & Marketplace Platform”). This policy applies only to personal information, not information that does not identify you. Please remember that using the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform is also subject to our Terms of Service.

2.2 Some aspects of the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform may operate under separate or additional terms or practices different from or in addition to those described in this policy; in those cases, We will share separate notices and information relevant to your use of those parts of the Dashrite Platform.

3. The Information We Collect

3.1  We collect various information as you use our services, such as your name, email, phone number, place of residence, delivery address, business information, financial information, and any other information you share on our platform. Additionally, we collect geolocation data, such as the customer’s location, when requesting a feature on our services for delivery or other services.

3.2  For Vendors, delivery drivers, and other Service Providers, we collect their geolocation and business data. We acquired geolocation through the Dashrite & Marketplace platform and apps. Customer’s and delivery drivers’ location data is continuously collected and transmitted to our servers when the app is used, even running in the background. We also receive information about the delivery drivers’s vehicles, including the registration number and compliance status data provided by the delivery driver. Furthermore, when applicable, we may collect usage data, including delivery drivers’ engagement and interactions with our service and driver, vendor, and service providers’ ratings.

 4. Information You Provide to Us:

4.1 Account Registration:  When you create an account with Dashrite & Marketplace, we collect the information you provide us, such as your name, email address, phone number, birth date, profile photo, and payment information. You may share additional info for your account profile, like saved addresses, and set up other preferences. We may ask that you provide further information related to the identity of your account, such as documents related to identification (e.g., driver’s license), a profile picture, or “selfie” imagery when applicable.

4.2 Vendor and Delivery Driver Information. Suppose you apply to be a Vendor or Delivery driver. In that case, we will collect the information you provide in your application, including your name, email address, phone number, birth date, profile photo, physical address, government identification number, driver’s s license, vehicle, car insurance, and other information applicable to your application. We collect the payment information you provide us, including your bank routing numbers or financial or other banking information.

4.3  Vendor and Delivery Driver: Depending on where you want to conduct business, we may also ask for an additional business license, permit, or other information to manage the account and relevant programs. We may need further information after you become a Vendor and Delivery Driver, including information to confirm your identity (like “selfie” imagery).

4.4 Ratings and Feedback: When you rate and provide feedback about the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform (including Vendors or delivery drivers), we collect all the information you provide in your feedback.

4.5 Communications: When you contact us, or we contact you, including through surveys or research projects, we collect any information that you provide, including the contents of the messages, emails, or attachments you send us.

5. Information We Collect When You Use the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform

5.1 Location Information: The Dashrite & Marketplace Platform collects location information (including GPS ) differently depending on your Dashrite & Marketplace app settings and device permissions, as well as whether you are using the platform as a Customer, Vendor, or delivery driver:

      • Customers: We may collect your device’s precise location when you open and use the Dashrite & Marketplace app, including while the app runs in the background from when you use the marketplace to place an order and request a delivery until it ends.
      • Delivery drivers: We may collect your device’s precise location when you open and use the app, including while the app is running in the background.
      • Vendor or store manager: We may collect your device’s location when you open and use the app, including while the app is running in the background.
      • Usage Information. We collect information about your use of the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform, including order and delivery information like the date, time, destination, payment, and whether you used a promotional or referral code.

6. Communications: Customer, Vendor, Delivery Drivers, Service provider, and Customer Service.

6.1 At Dashrite,. We use a third-party communication service, and while doing so, we collect certain information. The information includes the phone numbers of the people involved, the date and time of the communication, and the contents, email, SMS, and chat messages.

6.2 Sometimes, we monitor or record phone calls or communication through our communication channels for security. We have built-in communication channels for most of our services that allow customers to chat or communicate with vendors, service providers, and the support team.

6.3 For services that don’t have built-in communication channels, we may share your personal information, such as name, address, and phone number, with service providers to contact you when necessary to fulfill your order or requests.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Third-Party Technologies.

7.1  We collect information through the use of “cookies,” tracking pixels, data analytics tools like Google Analytics, SDKs, and other third-party technologies to understand how you navigate through the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform and interact with advertisements to make your Dashrite & Marketplace experience safer, to learn what content is popular, to improve your site experience, to serve you better ads on other sites, and to save your preferences.

7.2 Cookies are small text files web servers place on your device to store basic information and help websites and apps recognize your browser. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be accessed whenever you use the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform.

8. Information We Collect From Other Sources

8.1  Service Providers and Other Parties. Service providers and other parties provide us with the information needed for core aspects of the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform and additional services, programs, loyalty benefits, and promotions that can enhance your Dashrite & Marketplace experience. These service providers and other parties include background check providers, financial service providers, marketing providers, and other businesses. We obtain the following information about you from these parties:

  • Information to make the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform safer, like background check information or identity verification information;
  • We may collect information about your involvement in third-party programs that offer insurance coverage and financial services, such as payment, transaction, fraud detection, marketing, and application programs.

9. Referral Programs.

9.1 Friends help friends use the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform. If someone refers you to Dashrite & Marketplace, we will collect information about you from that referral, including your name and contact information.

10. Other Users and Sources.

10.1  Other users or public or third-party sources such as law enforcement, insurers, media, or customers may provide us information about you, for example, as part of an investigation into an incident or to support you.

11. How We Use Your Information

11.1 We use your personal information to:

    • Serve you the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform;
    • Maintain the security and safety of the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform and its users;
    • Build and maintain the Dashrite community & Marketplace ;
    • Provide customer support;
    • Improve the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform; and
    • Respond to legal proceedings and obligations.

11.2 Providing the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform. We use your personal information to offer our platform an intuitive, functional, efficient, and worthwhile experience. To do this, we use your personal information to:

    • Verify your identity and maintain your account, settings, and preferences;
    • Connect you to Vendor and delivery drivers and track their progress;
    • Calculate prices and process payments;
    • Allow Customers, Service Providers, vendors, and delivery drivers to connect regarding their transactions and to choose to share their location with others;
    • Communicate with you about your use of the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform and experience;
    • Collect feedback regarding your experience;
    • Facilitate additional services and programs with third parties and
    • Operate contests, sweepstakes, and other promotions.

12. Security and Safety of the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform and its Users.

12.1  Providing a secure and safe experience helps our platform. To do this, we use your personal information to:

    • Authenticate and verify users;
    • Verify that Vendors, Service Providers, and delivery drivers and their services meet safety requirements;
    • Investigate and resolve incidents, accidents, and insurance claims;
    • Encourage safe behavior and avoid unsafe activities;
    • Find and prevent fraud and
    • Block and remove unsafe or fraudulent users from the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform.

13. Providing Customer Support.

13.1 We work hard to provide the best experience possible, including supporting you when needed. To do this, we use your personal information to:

    • Investigate and assist you in resolving questions or issues you have regarding the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform and
    • Support you or respond to you.

14. Improving the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform.

14.1 We constantly work to improve your experience and provide new and helpful features. To do this, we use your personal information to:

    • Perform research, testing, and analysis;
    • Develop new products, features, partnerships, and services;
    • Prevent, find, and resolve software or hardware bugs and issues; and
    • Monitor and improve our operations and processes, including security practices, algorithms, and other modeling.

15. Responding to Legal Proceedings and Requirements.

15.1  Sometimes, the law, government entities, or other regulatory bodies impose demands and obligations on us concerning the services we seek to provide. We may use your personal information to respond to those demands or obligations in such a circumstance.

16. How We Disclose Your Information

16.1 We do not sell your personal information to third parties for money — no one can buy the personal information we collect from and about you, and we do not act as a data broker. 

16.2  However, we may need to share your personal information with third parties to deliver relevant, personalized ads to you on and off the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform. Some of these disclosures may constitute “sharing” or the “sale” of personal information for “targeted advertising” purposes under specific local privacy laws.

17.  Sharing Between Dashrite & Marketplace Users

“Customers, Vendors, Delivery drivers, and other Service Providers

17.1 When you make an order request through the Dashrite app, we need to share some of your personal information with Vendors, Delivery drivers, and our partner Service Providers to fulfill your requests. The personal data includes information such as delivery pickup and drop-off locations, service locations, your name, profile photo, a phone number you provided, and any additional information you entered into the app. We also share delivery statistics with our partners to ensure the smooth functioning of our services. Please note that we take all necessary measures to ensure the safe handling of your personal information, and we only share what is required to complete your delivery request.

17.2   Example: When a user requests a service in our Pro-Services Marketplace, we share your personal information with at least three partner Service Providers based on the chosen service. It is important to note that these service providers may pay for the lead generated.

17.3 You agree that we are offering this service to you, and you do not consider this to be selling personal information because our service providers will require personal information to contact you to fulfill your request. We ensure that your personal information is shared only with the service providers relevant to your chosen service, and we take utmost care to safeguard their privacy.

17.4  Once the order or service request is finished, we may also share the customer’s rating and feedback with the vendor, delivery driver, or service provider when applicable.

18. Vendors, Delivery drivers, and partner Service Provider’s information shared with the customer:

18.1  When a delivery driver or partner Service Provider accepts or assigns an order, we will share their names, profile photos, and other information with the customer. This information is available on the delivery driver and partner Service Provider’s account profile and any public information they choose to add.

19. For Legal Reasons and to Protect the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform

19.1 We may disclose your personal information in response to a legal obligation or if we have determined that disclosing your personal information is reasonably necessary or appropriate to:

    • Comply with any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation, civil, criminal, or regulatory inquiry, investigation or legal process, enforceable governmental request, or requirement as a condition to operate (e.g., operating permit, license or agreement);
    • Respond to legal process (such as a search warrant, subpoena, summons, or court order);
    • Enforce our Terms of Service;
    • Cooperate with law enforcement agencies concerning conduct or activity that we reasonably and in good faith believe may violate federal, state, or local law or
    • Exercise or defend legal claims, protect against harm to our rights, property, interests, or safety or the rights, property, interests, or safety of you, third parties, or the public as required or permitted by law.

20. In connection with the Sale or Merger

20.1 We may disclose your personal information while negotiating or about a change of corporate control, such as a restructuring, merger, or sale of our assets.

21. Upon Your Further Direction

21.1 We may disclose your personal information to interact with a third party or with your permission or direction.

22. How We Store and Protect Your Information

22.1  We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide you and our other users with the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform. This means we keep your account profile information for as long as you maintain an account. We retain transactional information, such as orders, deliveries, and payments, to ensure we can perform legitimate business functions, such as accounting for tax obligations. We also retain your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms and policies. If you request account deletion, we may delete your information.

We take reasonable and appropriate measures designed to protect your personal information. However, no security measures can be 100% effective, and we cannot guarantee the security of your information, including against unauthorized intrusions or acts by third parties.

23. Your Rights And Choices Regarding Your Data

23.1 Dashrite & Marketplace may provide ways to access and delete your personal information and exercise applicable data rights that give you specific control over your personal information.

23.2 Profile Information. You can review and edit certain account information you have chosen to add to your profile by logging in to your account settings and profile.

23.4 Location Information. You can prevent your device from sharing location information through your device’s system settings. But if you do, this may impact Dashrite & Marketplace’s ability to provide our full range of features and services. You may also control some elements of sharing your location with Dashrite & Marketplace in your Dashrite & Marketplace account settings.

23.5 Access Your Information. Suppose you would like to access your personal information. In that case, You can also see our information about you by logging into your account and viewing your profile, settings, preferences, order history, or payment information. In addition, you may have some information included in things we sent you, such as order and service or delivery receipts.

23.6  Deleting Your Account. Suppose you want to delete your Dashrite & Marketplace account. In some cases, we cannot delete your account, such as if there is an issue with your account related to trust, safety, or fraud. When we delete your account, we may retain certain information for legitimate business purposes or to comply with legal or regulatory obligations. For example, we may retain your information to resolve open insurance claims or be obligated to maintain your information as part of an open legal claim. When we retain such data, we do so in ways designed to prevent its use for other purposes.

24. All Users

24.1 Email Subscriptions. You can always unsubscribe from our commercial or promotional emails by clicking unsubscribe in those messages. We will still send you transactional and relational emails about your use of the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform.

24.2 Push Notifications. You can opt out of receiving push notifications through your device settings. Please note that opting out of receiving push notifications may impact your use of the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform (such as receiving notification of your order and essential communications ).

24.3 SMS Subscriptions: We use SMS to communicate with our users through OTP and SMS. We may use your phone number to send promotions or notify you about our services.

24.4  We will handle your data carefully and respect your privacy. Please note that :

    • “Messages and Data rates may apply. Message frequency will vary.”
    • “Reply Stop to Opt-out of messaging”
    • “Reply Help for Customer Care Contact Information”

24.5  No mobile information will be shared with third parties for marking or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data consent; this information will not be shared with third parties. 

25. Children’s Data: 

Dashrite & Marketplace is not for children, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we find out that a child under 16 has given us personal information, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe a child under 16 has given us personal information, please get in touch with us at support@dashrite.com.

26.  Links to Third-Party Websites:

26.1 The Dashrite & Marketplace Platform may contain links or references to third-party websites, products, or services. Those third parties may have privacy policies that differ from ours. We are not responsible for those third parties and their websites, products, or services, and we recommend that you review their policies. Please contact those parties directly with any questions about their privacy policies.

27. Changes to This Privacy Policy:

27.1  We may update this policy occasionally as the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform changes and privacy laws evolve. If we update it, we will do so online, and if we make material changes, we will let you know through the Dashrite & Marketplace Platform or by some other method of communication like email. When you use Dashrite & Marketplace, you agree to this policy’s most recent terms.
